We spent a lovely Christmas at a charming French chateau. The rooms were spacious and clean, with elegant decorations. Breakfasts were freshly prepared, with a variety of options served on beautiful tableware. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby villages and historical sites. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity to rest in the park.
While the rooms were beautiful, the overall condition of the chateau was run down and gloomy. The lack of lighting in the evening made it challenging to navigate the property, and the hosts were not very welcoming.

The rooms were spacious, comfortable and spotless, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Breakfast was delicious, with locally, sourced produce and high, quality ingredients. Best aspects: the friendly and interesting hosts made a genuine effort to connect with their guests, providing helpful tips and recommendations for exploring the area. the location was convenient for visiting nearby attractions and exploring the local villages.
The lack of on, site amenities was disappointing, which made us feel that we could have stayed in a more luxurious accommodation. the noise from nearby traffic occasionally disturbed our peaceful nights.

The Chateau is located in a peaceful rural area amidst beautiful sunflower fields, perfect for a relaxing getaway. the spacious and clean rooms are tastefully decorated, making you feel right at home. the hosts are incredibly charming and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable. the breakfasts are delicious and beautifully presented, with homemade jam as a highlight. the faded grandeur of the Chateau adds a touch of old-world charm.
The lack of air conditioning in the Chateau can make the room quite warm during the summer months.
